I called and emailed pictures so we could do a consult of sorts by web and phone-I currently live in Michigan. I was the victim of a permanent cosmetic disaster. After making the huge decision to have my lips done , I went in search of a technician to have it done. The color was chosen, the date set, and I was excited. However, when it was all over I found myself with a color that looked different on me than the sample and the lines on my lips were uneven. I went back to have things fixed, but was still so unhappy with the results. I trusted that the gal I was working with and thought she knew what she was doing. It became clear after the third time that she was incompetent. At this point I went looking for someone to fix my mistakes. When I first heard about permanent makeup I was thrilled. Immediately I looked up a local person who was in the trade. I booked my eyeliner, lipliner, lipcolor. My first appt. was an eyeopener. As the lady began the process which was suppose to be painfree-I wondered what I had gotten myself into! It was all I could endure to get through 1/4th the eyeliner...I wondered how I would get through the rest...over 2 hrs. later I felt like a mac truck ran over me...I drove myself home. We had lined my eyes & she assured me the completed look could not be determined until after the touchup.Next trip was lipliner painful as before ,almost as long. I asked the lady if she ever used a tattoo gun she assured me that this was the better way. The next trip was full lip color...I had planned to go to a barbecue after, I was sent to the dentist to get my lips numbed. Went to see the lady & two hrs later looked in the mirror & was horrified I went straight home crying & covering my lips the whole way. My lips had swelled to 5x normal size-I looked like a cartoon! I was scared to death & stayed home with ice on my lips for 3 days. The final result was not as the lady assured me it would be-my eyeliner looked awful & turned down at the corners ,which made me even look older.Lipliner full color were not flattering in their placement.I was very disappointed in the whole thing! A few years later I met Tammy from Forever Pretty 123 at a street fair. She handed me her card & this time I checked it all out! She corrected my previous permanent makeup and helped feel a lot better about the way it looked. Not only that , but her technique took minutes compared to hours and was tolerable. I would refer anyone interested in permanent makeup to Tammy Kelly. Her technique is quick & professional. She is friendly and courteous & cares how you look during-after-final result all of it. Tammy has altered some of my wording in kindness to others.
